  • December 2011 - Cooperative acquisitions of grants totaling $2,000 from individual Sustaining Members and organizational grant, authorized by the Board of Directors, as well as memorial donations in honor of Claude Prather, for the benefit of Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund (IMSFF). With these donations, the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Kentucky (MCCCK) has now been responsible, either directly or indirectly, in generating over $261,450 in support of the IMSFF and its vital mission
  • December 2011 - Continued funding of a college or university "Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Kentucky Scholarship," to be awarded annually to a worthy son or daughter of a Kentucky Marine, under the auspices of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF), which has been "honoring Marines by educating their children" since its inception in 1962. The Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Kentucky is proud to partner with the MCSF for the second consecutive year (2011-2012) (2012-2013) in this truly important extension of its motto "Marines Serving Marines." 
  • December 2011 – Provided significant financial support ($9,250) of the family of deceased Marine Corps veteran, who died suddenly and unexpectedly while serving as local police officer at Louisville, Kentucky. Facilitated the acquisition of future college scholarship grants for each of four (4) minor children, through the Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation.
  • November 2011 - Funding support and cooperative partial sponsorship of annual Marine Corps Birthday Breakfast at Lexington, Kentucky, attended by 112 active duty, reserve and veteran Marines from throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, who honored Women Marines, represented by Maj Lauren S. Edwards, USMC, Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Recruiting Station Charleston (West Virginia).
  • November 2011 - Funding support of Marine Corps Birthday celebrations hosted by the Marine Corps Recruiting Station Louisville (Louisville), Military Police "Alpha" Company (Lexington), and "Echo" Company, 4th Tank Battalion (Fort Knox).
  • November 2011 – Financial support of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Louisville (RS Louisville) recruiter incentive program awards, presented annually at the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. 
  • June 2011 – Provided financial support of the Women marines association (WMA) Louisville Chapter to assist with the shipment of personal items (care packages) for distribution to Marines deployed in Afghanistan.
  • June 2011 - Provided financial support of the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program at Fern Creek High School, Fern Creek, Kentucky, to assist with travel expenses associated with out-of-state national marksmanship competition.
  • May 2011 – Coordinated and facilitated significant financial support ($6,500) of active duty Marine Corps families at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, who sustained tornado related personal property damages.
  • May 2011 - Funding support of Louisville Armed Forces Committee (LAFC) Annual Armed Forces Day Dinner at Louisville, Kentucky, during which local military personnel of all our armed forces are recognized and honored for individual achievements associated with their service.  Complimentary dinners were provided to local active duty Marines and their guests.
  • May 2011 – Provided funding support of the Marine Corps League, William B. Baugh Detachment #1052, Danville, Kentucky, dinner hosting the Marine Band and Silent Drill Platoon, during the 2011 Great American Brass Band festival at Danville, Kentucky, at which both units performed in honor of John Philip Sousa.   
  • May 2011 - Funding support of Bluegrass Military Affairs Coalition (BMAC) Annual Armed Forces Day Event at Lexington, Kentucky, during which local military personnel of all our armed forces are recognized and honored for individual achievements associated with their service. Complimentary dinners are provided to local military personnel and spouses through corporate, civilian and veterans' sponsorships.
  • May 2011 - Funding support of academic scholarship established by Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC), Seneca High School, Louisville, Kentucky, in memory of LCpl Robert A. Lynch, USMC, Seneca High School, MCJROTC alumnus killed in action on July 24, 2007 in Iraq.
  • April 2011 - Funding support of Officer Selection Teams (Lexington)(Cincinnati), MCRSL, sponsored and hosted Colonel "Rich" Higgins Memorial Mess Night, major officer candidate recruiting effort focusing on regional colleges and universities, to include food, beverages, and awards, primarily through individual member participation and generosity of those unable to attend, as well as dedicated award sponsorships.
  • April 2011 – Funding support of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Louisville family, with extraordinary travel related expenses (transportation and lodging) associated with the remote hospitalization of Marine recruiter.
  • March 2011 – Provided financial support to Officer Selection Team, Lexington, Kentucky, through the Montford Point Marine Association, Louisville Chapter, to assist an officer candidate with sufficient funds for purchase of required items of clothing and supplies for participation in Officers Candidate School.  
  • March 2011 - Funding support of the Montford Point Marine Association, Chapter #22, Louisville, Kentucky, Covington - Hagan Scholarships, awarded annually to deserving college bound African - American students.
